The D.C. Clothesline

solgunsI feel a tremendous responsibility to write this article though I am a little apprehensive. Thinking about the possibility of rising up against our own government is a frightening thing for many of us. I am not Johnny Rambo and I will be the first to admit that I do not want to die. The reason I feel compelled to write this, however, is simply because I don’t think the average American is equipped with the facts. I feel that a lot of American citizens feel like they have no choice but to surrender their guns if the government comes for them. I blame traditional media sources for this mass brainwash and I carry the responsibility of all small independent bloggers to tell the truth. So my focus today is to lay out your constitutional rights as an American, and let you decide what to do with those rights.

January 26, 2013
by

I’m starting this article for myself and all my friends to share their favorite recipes. I’m always looking for new things to eat and new flavors to taste. From different ethnic foods to foods famous in their locations here in the USA, I’m hoping to build a collection of recipes and share them with all.  It’s simple, put your recipes in the comments section and I will add them to article each week, in order to build a nice database we can all share.

Guns Aren’t The Problem

January 14, 2013

tell-34305519563It has been one full month since the reported shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.  Since then, the MSM and many politicians are calling for banning this and banning that, all the way up to banning all guns and abolishing the 2nd Amendment.  A short message to those who want everyone’s guns:  If your not willing to lead the way, door to door and take the peoples guns, I would suggest that you just shut the hell up, because you are a big mouthed coward.  If you are willing, then your just a psychotic idiot with a suicide problem.  You should shut the hell up too!  Now, many of you who know me, know that I do not believe much about the official story of the Sandy Hook shooting.  But, this article is not about that, it’s about a real problem that can be identified, a possible cause as to why these mass murderers go on these insane rampages.  They are known as Psychotropic Drugs, and they are prescribed to treat people with mental illness.  But, to be honest, those who make these drugs, don’t want you to know what is going to be passed on in this article.  One man may have been mysteriously killed because he posted this information on Facebook.

Sleep In Peace Tonight

January 6, 2013

american-spirit-jan-baughmanWith  the help of Paul Howe from WilsonCombat.com, it is time to put the idea of gun confiscation to rest.  Many people today are concerned that the Liberals in the District of Criminals will pass laws outlawing guns, maybe not all guns, but many kinds that are very popular and many that we carry concealed for our self-protection and the protection of our family.  I have published several articles about this subject, including the fact that the 2nd Amendment is not negotiable.  The claim that there needs to be a discussion about gun control is just fluff from the gun grabbers.  They think that we will just give up our guns, many handed down from generation to generation, because some nut shoots up a school and commits a horrible mass murder.  That shooting will be the subject of my next article, so lets stick with the gun grabbers and all their fluff.  Lets say that they win and guns are outlawed.  Gun confiscation will begin in one week if we don’t voluntarily turn in our guns.  Here is what Paul Howe has to say about that.

Fight For Your Rights

January 2, 2013

controlI will never understand why people want to take guns away from law abiding citizens. Every year, there are over 1.5 million events that law abiding citizens protect themselves with their gun. Crime is rampant in areas where gun laws deny citizens the right to bare arms. One only needs to look at Chicago, with 500+ murders in 2012. Chicago has some of the most stringent gun laws and are run by hard core Democrats. Rahm Emanuel, the Mayor of Chicago, still wants a total ban on guns, despite the fact that gun control does not protect the law abiding citizens. Australia and New Zealand are recent countries to outlaw guns. The Liberals think that this will stop crime, but sadly, crime has exploded and the citizens are denied the right to protect themselves with the needed tools (guns) to fight off the often armed criminals. Here’s a true story from England that best explains why gun control is a rediculous idea by people whose minds are brainwashed by left wing propaganda that fails at every turn.

MOLON LABE!!!!! Come and Get Them!

December 29, 2012
by

New Jersey –(Ammoland.com)- Two simple Greek words of defiance, MOLON LABE or Μολὼν λαβέ, echo through the ages to Americans here and now , thousands of years after the Battle of Thermopylae.

These two words signify the refusal to simply roll over and submit to the demands of a tyrant with overwhelming force at his disposal demanding free people to lay down their arms.

Through out human history there is example after example of Citizens exhibiting extraordinary courage in the face of overwhelming force and superior technology to fight for and if necessary die for their freedom and the freedom of future generations.

When King Xerxes swept across the European Continent on his quest for World Domination, he encountered such iron willed determination and irrepressible spirit of resistance in Leonidas and the Spartans defending Greece.

Xerxes demanded the Greeks lay down their arms in submission and subservience to him. The response from Leonidas and the Spartans was simple, MOLON LABE! Greek for “Come and get them!”. Outnumbered 300 to 1, and facing certain annihilation before the one million soldiers of Xerxes Army, the Spartans stood defiant willing and prepared to sacrifice their very lives in a stand against tyranny and oppression.

Though every one of the Spartans, including their leader Leonidas was killed during the Battle of Thermopylae, they exacted such a terrible price from Xerxes troops that they lost all taste for any more fighting.

The same spirit of resistance in the face of overwhelming force and tyranny gave birth to the United States. It was repeated again during WW II by a tiny band of innocent Jews in the Warsaw Ghettos of Poland who, heavily outnumbered, starving and poorly armed held off more then a company of the most fearsome troops in Hitler’s war machine, the SS and Wehrmacht for over a month.

THE BILL OF RIGHTS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE

December 27, 2012

Mike Adams
Natural News
Dec 27, 2012

There is a destructive, delusional meme spreading like a virus among many misguided Americans. It pushes the idea that government can pick and choose which rights codified in the Bill of Rights it wishes to recognize or discard on any given day.

This delusion is predicated on the concept that if a popular majority can be emotionally whipped into a frenzy over one particular right, then that right can simply be discarded and stricken from the Bill of Rights.

But no such power exists to discard any portion of the Bill of Rights, at least not without proper ratification by three-fourths of the fifty states. There is no such power found solely in the federal government. There is no such power placed solely in the executive branch, nor in Congress, nor in the White House.

The Bill of Rights describes a set of individual rights and liberties which are not granted by government, but recognized as DIVINE rights given to use by our Creator. Because government never granted the rights in the first place, it has no authority to take them away.

“The Framers of the Bill of Rights did not purport to “create” rights. Rather, they designed the Bill of Rights to prohibit our Government from infringing rights and liberties presumed to be preexisting.” – William J Brennan Jr.

The individual liberties described in the Bill of Rights cannot be infringed, nor deleted, nor overridden by popular opinion… not even loudly screamed opinion. America is not a nation ruled by the tyranny of the mob. It isn’t even a democracy — it’s a republic, where certain inalienable rights describe the protection of each individual, even if that individual is the lone voice of sanity in a majority gone mad. The Bill of Rights protects individuals from the tyranny of mob rule — a phenomenon that routinely rears its head in any society where historical illiteracy is rampant and the masses are lulled into a state of complacency by charismatic but dishonest leaders.

Where, oh where has plainlyspoken gone?

June 22, 2012

Well, not as far as you think.  I am still kicking, but things in my life have taken a couple of routes that have restructured my thinking and my time.  I have been absent from blogging on politics simply because with all that is happening I haven’t got the energy for it.  Though, since there are a few who got use to seeing me around it is time I spoke plainly as to why I no longer am.

First, and foremost, many of you know that littlespoken revealed to us last year of the sexual abuse she suffered when she was seven.  The perpetrator is now, I am happy to report, sitting in the hoosegow awaiting his trial on multiple counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust.  He was arrested a couple of weeks ago after a seven month long investigation by the police department.  The detective who was assigned to the case has accomplished more than I ever believed (in my ex-cop thinking) one could.  He was so careful in construction of the case that he was able to obtain a full confession and a handwritten letter of apology to littlespoken!  My daughter, wife and I are very pleased, even though we face the next long battle – a court trial.  We hope he will plead out on the case, but we figure that would be more than we can expect at this point.  The ADA handling the case has assured the investigating detective that if the accused gets a deal offered to him it will include a stretch in the state prison.  Theoretically, at this point, the sob is facing multiple 4-to-life sentences for his crimes against our child.  If he is smart he’ll go and stay in prison, it really is the best place for him.  This whole case consumes a lot of my energy, especially in working to help littlespoken get her life back.  We all work with her counselor (one who has specialty experience in counseling children who have suffered sexual abuse) to build a stronger littlespoken.  It is slow going, but we will persevere.

The second reason for my absence is also a tough family issue my wife, daughter and I are dealing with.  I started having some balance and trembling problems a couple months ago.  Along with some other things my RN wife noticed it was enough for her to decide that I need to go see my physician.  I did and his initial diagnosis was not something I wanted to ever hear.  I have Parkinson’s Disease.  Over the course of the past two months I have been undergoing other testing to insure all other possible conditions can be ruled out, but for my physician the picture is clear.  Hell of a thing to hear from your doc, and I trust my doc, so here we are.  It has been an emotional roller coaster ride for me.  The disease causes many problems and the medications don’t control them all. One of the worse aspects of it is that at some point down the road it will rob me of the two things I fear losing most, control over my mind and my body.  But for now I have good days, bad days, and occasionally even worse days where sitting up in bed is about all I can handle.  My overall future is mapped out in a way, all that I have to do is trust the doc that we can make the quality of my life the best that we can possibly make it.  It is definitely a “one day at a time” thought process for right now.  I struggle still with the mental highs and lows of Parkinson’s Disease, but I am blessed with a wonderful wife and child who refuse to let me go it alone.  They are the rock I hold on to now and will for whatever time I am granted to spend with them.  We don’t know yet how the disease will progress, so all I can do is trust that the Lord has it all set properly for me.

There you have it, short and sweet.  Well, maybe not so short.  I want to say that I miss y’all here and at SUFA.  I am afraid that I just don’t have the heart for it right now.  I admit I am kind of self-absorbed at the moment. I have peeked in a couple of times and I may in the future, but no promises.  I have started blogging a bit, at my wife’s insistence, to help clear my head on this disease.  You’ll find it at plainlyparkinsons.wordpress.com.  Stop over if you are of a mind to.

Gman, I apologize for adding an article before giving you a heads up.  Hopefully you aren’t upset with me?  😉  To all the rest (and you too G) go my best wishes.

A New Adventure

May 18, 2012

Hello Friends!  This article is very different than my normal stuff, it’s non-political.  Considering the economy and the state of Social Security, I have decided to take an adventure and buy and build a business.  I started this because I took the time to become a preferred customer on Shop.com.  I was able to purchase what I wanted and get cash back.  It all began on Market America, who recently bought Shop.com.   As they expand into more foreign countries, like Mexico next month and soon to be China, the age of Social Shopping is upon us.   With the coming of smart TV’s, the age of WiFi already here, and cell phones getting better and better, cashing in on Social Shopping is a great way to become more independent of government programs in the future.  Social Security is dying, it’s time to plan for it NOT being around in a few years.
